30 Apr ASNA Announces Expanded Guy Okakok Sr, Scholarship: New Opportunities for Arctic Slope Tribal Members in Various Fields
The ASNA Board of Directors recently approved additional funding for two additional Guy Okakok, Sr. Scholarship. These funds will now be available not only for health and social services fields but also for fields such as business administration, accounting, information systems, HR management, and other eligible fields. The scholarship is open to eligible tribal members of the Arctic Slope. Click here to download the application.
Each recipient will be awarded up to $2,500 per semester or $5,000 per academic year, based on financial need. This scholarship is a one-time opportunity and is only available for the 2024-2025 academic year.
The application deadline has been extended to August 1, 2024. Please note that late and/or incomplete applications will not be considered.
